Worst thing you have ever done for a gift

Some uncomfortable gift giving and receiving decisions will have to be made sometimes, I have been in a few personally, know people who have been in some, and have some ideas about a few, so here are my questions:

  1. Say you had a person that really like you and asking you on a date, would you date them because you know you will possibly get a good christmas gift? (Let's face it, valentine's day is right after christmas, so this may be a good idea if you can hang on for 2 more months, eh? :-D)
  2. Following from point 1, if you knew you were in a relationship and wanted to break up with the person, would you wait until after christmas/valentine?
  3. If you had a 'special friend' or 'friends with benefit', would you get them a gift if you know they will not be getting you one?
  4. Would you lie about 'needing' something to get it as a gift from friends, family, etc?
  5. If you got a gift you really did not like, what do you say or what is your reaction?
  6. Will you buy someone a gift YOU actually liked and just hope they don't like it, if not, you will wait until later to 'borrow' it? (This happened in an episode of the simpsons where Homer got Marge a bowling ball with his name engraved on it)

What have you done for a gift or what little white lies have you told? Be honest please, for fun!!!
